I keep getting this error when I try to use Quix page builder in order to create a simple landing page until my website has content

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/phat4lif/public_html/libraries/quix/vendor/illuminate/support/helpers.php on line 358

I want my landing page to look similar to this, with a contact form that sends the data to my email address, so I build up my email list BEFORE users can beging to log in. I don't want anybody logging in until my website has been constructed.

Here is the link to a landing page I created using WebPlus X5 and is how I want my Joomla website to appear. Please advise on how I can achieve this with my Joomla website. I have also purchased the EasySocial Bundle, which is what I plan to use for my final website. The landing page will be temporary just until I am able to put more content on my EasySocial website. Please examine the landing page I created below:

MY LANDING PAGE
Hello Naomi,

I would strongly suggest that you post your questions on Themexpert's board. We are actually not the developers of Quix, and we don't really have an idea of how it works

If you have already submitted a ticket with them, what's the URL or ticket id and I will try to push this to Parvez

As per your request here is the url/ticket ID as I would appreciate sincerely any effort to push this. These parse errors are causing a huge delay in progressing toward adding content to my website.

Hello,

It appear that you are running lower version of PHP and Quix requires PHP 5.5+ to run properly. Please consult your host to upgrade PHP version and it will work fine.

We've added a nice message with tutorial in our upcoming version

Thanks
Parvez from ThemeXpert.
