Hello,

although I can run the installer and get a success message, there was no update made when I reopen the component settings (I still get the "Requires Updating" message).

Does anyone know what I have to do differently to actually update Easyblog?

Hi Jakob,

I believe you are using auto updater from easyblog backend where there are some issues with the updater in easyblog 5.0.13. My colleague has updated your easyblog components by using full installer that can be obtained from stackideas dashboard and then install it directly via extension manager.

By the way glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.
