I am sorry for any inconvenience caused, by right it should able to install when your php server already disabled `PassThru` function, the reason why Easysocial need this php function `PassThru` to enable is because this php function can help when you upload video on Easysocial site, this `PassThru` function will help you encoding the video in order to make this video can playable in all the different browser.

By the way, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can help you check on this?

My Provider wont enable this Option-there was a clear response.
I put my Admin Access in the recommended Area.

Thanks for getting back to us, I've tried to upload launcher installer from your Joomla backend, but it seems like I hitting following error :

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

The PHP temporary folder is not set.

Unable to find install package

Can you consult with your webhosting provider to help you increase following php value from your server?

upload_max_filesize = 50M

post_max_size = 50M

max_execution_time = 300

And double check this php `tmp_path` is it set correctly from your current site? Because based on the error message it said "The PHP temporary folder is not set.".

As i mentioned in the support forum, i couldnt install easy Social completely.
But as i looked in the Backend...easySocial was installed. Im not sure if its completely working because the Setup stopped.

I believe it will not install complete, can you provide us with your FTP access as well?

And when I try to move a file through your FTP account but I hitting following error :

Response:	553 Can't open that file: Disk quota exceeded

Error:	Critical file transfer error

Can you consult with your webhosting provider regarding this?

The Upload should work again.
I tried to install ES again...didnt work. The Passthru Option is not posible to enable-my Provider answered my Ticket.
Maybe you could try to install the newest Version again, please!
I dont know what else i can do now.

I am sorry for the confusion in my earlier reply, regarding this installation issue is not related with this `PassThru` PHP whether you disabled from your PHP server.

Based on my observation, I believe there some file/folder permission causing this issue when the installation try to copy the file into your server JOomlaFolder/media/com_easysocial/..

However, I would like advise you consult with your webhosting provider to help you check the file permissions and chown for all files and folders to the correct owners on your server? All files need to be writable by the webserver user.

Because I really can't reach the step 3 from the installation page, you can take a look of my attached screenshot below.

By the way, I've manually help you updated all the latest file from your site, but some of the folder/file I still unable to override it, can you download my attached file and extract it then replace into this file location -> JoomlaFolder\media\com_easysocial\scripts\..

I installed your script folder. Is ES now working or is there something more i need to do?
