Cannot Compile LESS

Hi Guys,

Get the following error when trying to compile LESS for the Elegant template:


Error

parse error: failed at `.img-retina(@file-1x; @file-2x; @width-1x; @height-1x) {` . . . /templates/elegant//less/../bootstrap/less/mixins/image.less on line 20

An error occurred. Failed to compile.
Hey MikeD,

Hm, I have forwarded this issue to our designer and as soon as they get to office on Monday, they will look into this

Can I know which version of the LESS compiler (or compiler app) you are using?

Did not know you needed to install one, so installed the one at:

http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/miscellaneous/development/less-compiler

Tried again, but got the same error.

Hi MikeD,
Elegant template are using Bootstrap 3.3.4 and above, I have updated the Site Lessc version to use lessphp-1.7.x.x compiler for you. More info on the plugin please check https://github.com/ndeet/plg_system_less.

Hi Chang,

Thank you for your help. However, I just tried to compile theme.less and got the same error.

Did it revert back, or am I doing something wrong?

Hi MikeD,

Please go to the backend -> Plugins -> System - Less Compiler -> change the "Site Lessc version" as I mention before.
