Can you help me understand... Author Associations

When editing a post as SuperAdmin I see I have the option to use 'associations' and select from my EasySocial events. This looks very interesting.

With an author permission I don't see any such options (and was perhaps expecting them based on their own EasySocial created events maybe)

Can you talk me through (as I don't think it's in the documentation) what happens when you use these 'associations' and if they are intended just for SuperAdmin? Thanks!

I am sorry for the confusing regarding this,

After I checked the code, it will only allow this following 3 situation :
1. Superadmin
2. Which author have `Moderate All Entries In Dashboard` permission
3. Which author have created/joined one of the teamblog in Easyblog

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Regarding that author association in Easyblog, the system will allow blogger to post in their Easysocial group/event if they already joined that group/events.

Hmmm....that's what I hoped but it doesn't seem to behave like that for me... or at least with the first time I tried... I'm adding in the private details here a user account and their event... when they write a blog (link also provided) they don't get the 'association' option.

Can you take a look? I do see the association options as Super Admin - but not as this user.

I'm editing this post with those links in the next 2 minutes!....

OK understood. That's ok then... As SuperAdmin I can do the associations for people once they've done their blogs. Probably simpler that way than to keep reminding them to link the two by adding the association. I'm glad it can be done though.
