Can't turn off Friends functionality

We want to completely remove the Friend features in EasySocial (buttons, requests, etc). The following have NO effect on the system:

EasySocial > Settings > Friends > Enable...=No
EasySocial > Settings > Friends > Allow...=No
EasySocial > Settings > Friends > show...=No
EasySocial > Applications > Users - Friends = Unpublished

But the Friend buttons, menus, layout are all still present. The "Add as Friend" button also appears to work.

How can I completely remove this feature?

Unfortunately we do not have an option disable this add friend feature completely, but you can try set the restriction for user add friend privacy from your backend > Easysocial > profile type > select your profile type > privacy tab > Who can send friend request to me - friend of friend only Hope this help.
