Can't edit blog text

Hi, fresh install of EasyBlog today on a new website (thanks again for installing); however can't seem to edit blog text - I go through the normal process to create a new post -> Blank post template -> I can edit the heading and the heading alias auto-updates but that is as far as I can get - can't edit the default text that says "Enter your text here..." or choose a category. I can add a block up to a point but can't edit it and add content to it.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as we have been overwhelmed with the support since the release of easysocial 1.4 and we are currently short handed.

When I try to install Easyblog in your site, It seems like you hitting this error : 
-1 Cannot create destination folder

Actually this is common error in Joomla, can you try consult with your Webhosting provider to check is it chown for all files and folders to the correct owners permission in your server or not?

By the way, I have manually update all the Easyblog folder/files in your site, can you give it a try and see how it goes?

Hey Bianca,

It seems like the Gunce template that you are using is not up to date as it is still utilizing some of the old css codes. I have updated EasyBlog to use the wireframe theme and it works fine now

You should contact the guys over at Optimum themes to look into this.

Hi Mark, This seems to be an issue with EasyBlog itself actually or a conflict between EasyBlog and something common on Joomla 3.4.4 - I upgraded to EasyBlog 5.0.26 on my other website and it now has the same issue - however it is not using Gunce template and has never had this template installed.

Same issue as the original website:

When creating a new post, can't select categories
When creating a new post, can't edit any text except title and title alias
New blog post page freezes i.e. can't cancel it or discard the post


I have tried using other Stack Ideas themes on the site but it doesn't help.

Can you please check and see if you can identify the specific conflict or issue? Site details provided below.
