Calender module with 1 specific category

Dear stackideas,

I noticed today that you can't link a category to the calender module. For example: it displays all the entries but what i want is only 1 category with entries specific for my calender module. Can you make this work in the coming updates? That would be very awesome if that will work.

Hey Christian,

I can't guarantee you that this will be available on the next update but it does seem like a meaningful request. Just so that I understand you correctly here, you want to be able to filter items in the calendar module by category basis?

Hey mark,

Thank you for your reply and thinking along with us. We now have some customers for example schoolwebsites which have the Joomla component "Jevents". This is an nice plugin but it has some issues and we prefer to use easyblog for all the functions. Is there a specific date that you expect the update for this request?

Currently we don't have the date yet when we will be adding this feature What you can do now is to submit your feature request in our EasyBlog's voice page http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog and we will be compiling the feature requests form time to time.
