Hi folks, I believe this issue has been in existence for quite some time.

When there is a subscriber to a post (by someone posting a comment on a blog post), we (admins?) receive an email notification like this:

New Subscriber!

Awesome! There is a new susbcriber for a blog post on the site.

It appears as though the subscriber name has been omitted.
Can you please tell me how I can fix this to make the message note who "subscribed"?

Cheers,
G
Yep, this looks like a bug if the poster is a registered user. Download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easyblog/views/comments/

Thanks, I'll replace the file. now 2 questions:

1. If the user is not registered, can the name and/or email entered not be displayed as well?
2. Will this patch file not be overwritten when we next update EB ?

Cheers,
G

If the user is not registered, the name will still appear. This patch is fixed internally already and it will be included in the next release.

One more small item to fix... in the email notification, there is a word misspelled.
susbcriber should be "subscriber"
