Hello. So, I finally have my social autoposting working...only to find they have all broken links. For example, if the actual link is:

http://fonteva.com/Product-News/Measuring-performance-5-characteristics-of-a-good-metric.html

easyblog seems to be sending it to:

http://fonteva.com/news-events/product-news/Measuring-performance-5-characteristics-of-a-good-metric

It's broken the same way on facebook, twitter, and linkedin. It returns a 404 error.

Can you help with this? Thanks
Hey Lauren,

This is important question, may i know do you publish the post from backend?

If yes, when you publish the blog post from backend, thus the URL generated did not go through sh404SEF, so you need to publish the post in frontend, if not the post URL won't be correct send to your social media page, the reason for this is because sh404SEF plugin does not run in backend and the URLs are not proccessed.

if no, can you provide us one of your social media account so I can do some test post and investigate on this.

Hi, yes I do publish from the backend. Just to clarify; by the front end, you mean to go to our blog while being logged in, and then log into easyblog from the small pencil icon? I can try doing that.

Yes, correct

Keep us updated the result.

If the issue still persists, perhaps you can provide us one of your social media account and Joomla backend access (I tested as you provided at above, but it not work) so I can do some test post and investigate on this.

Hi Lauren,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply due to the different timezone here in our country. Yes the number is correct and I can access you twitter account now.

However It seems like I am not able to access your frontend of your site with the provided credentials. Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/yHx4NiU3 . Please advise.

I see you've posted a blogs menu item on the main menu...we don't really want it there. IF you need it for testing, I've moved it to a hidden menu below:

It seems like I request too many times for the verification code, so Linkedin system temporary blocked me.

Just now that verification code actually sent to your email address -> jhuskins@fonteva.com

Perhaps you can try submit a post from frontend, it should work fine, because I already tried autopost to Twitter and Facebook, it seems work fine without hitting any 404 error.

Hey Lauren,

I've tried one more time, but Linkedin already don't allow me request the verification code anymore.
You have exceeded the maximum number of code requests.

But I believe Linkedin only blocked me today, I will try tomorrow and see how it goes.

If you know how to temporary disable that Linkedin security setting, so I can access without hitting this security layer.

Thanks for getting back to us quickly.

I've checked in your screenshot, can you try set `Application status` to live then save it.

After that go to your backend > Easyblog > autopost > linkedin > click revoke access > then click `sign in via Linkedin` again, after you done keep us updated then.

I am sorry that made you confusing on this, what I mean for the `3 social media wall` is check Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin page and see is it still hitting 404 error when you click the link.

may i know did you check with your Linkedin account ? because I can't access with your Linkedin account so I unable to check.

[EDITED]
Great ! What I did is login in your frontpage then go to this page -> http://screencast.com/t/GjNAgsMJ1

Then click on the `create new post` button > write your blog content > click publish button

Actually I am felt curious that how you publish the blog post in your site? Perhaps you can share with me about this, I can correct it if something missing here.
