Just activated the subscription module. It appears at the bottom now. This is fine but if you try to subscribe it says that the entered email has an error. What can we do?

And where can I turn off\on the text size, the print and the bookmark button?
Okay thanks! Managed to reproduce this error and it was caused by a conflicting "id" on the page. I have fixed this for you and it should work fine now

This will also be fixed in the next release of EasyBlog.

Just noticed that on the start page the module is working. But if you try to use it on a blog entry page then it gives you an error.
And another thing is: can I adjust the module in this way that it is only possible to subscribe to the entire site? Cause I noticed that if use it on a entry page u only subscribe to this single entry. So if I could change this to only entire site subscription? This would be cool!

Hi Till,

Regarding on your subscription issue, can you provide us with your FTP access so we can check on the issue further?

and one more issue: just updated to 5.24. The cron is not working anymore.

I just tried to manually run the cron command with your domain name and it seems like the cron is working correctly. I suspect you have not configured the cronjob correctly from your server side. Can you pass me your cronjob access as well so we can take a closer look on the issue?

How is it going?
Did you find any solution?
Which one is the problem, the cron or the subscription module?

Hi Till,

I am sorry I have missed out your cronjob issue. We are still investigating on your subscription module issue. By the way it seems like the provided site panel access is not working for me. Check my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/SluK4vik .

Please advise.

Hi Till,

I've applied the fix inside your /modules/mod_easyblogsubscribe/tmpl/default.php for your subscription issue and it should be working fine now.

Hi Till,

I've helped you to set the cronjob for your site and it should be working correctly now.

By the way since you are using cron.php instead of cron command, you need to manually change the $host variable with your domain name for each easyblog update. Hope these help.

Thanks for fixing it... great!

What do you mean with this "By the way since you are using cron.php instead of cron command, you need to manually change the $host variable with your domain name for each easyblog update!

What is "$host variable" and where to change it?
Please give me some further explanation!

Thanks

Hi Till,

You can find the file from your /components/com_easyblog/cron.php and change the variable at line 18 as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/SraTsxZa

Updated to 5.0.25. Again the subscription module is not working on the entry sites.
Please apply the same change again as you just did yesterday ("I've applied the fix inside your /modules/mod_easyblogsubscribe/tmpl/default.php for your subscription issue and it should be working fine now.")
Thanks!

Did you apply the same fix as before?
