I have a unique situation that I am looking for suggestions on or just to see if there is any other interest in adding something like this. I am looking for a couple of ways to do the following:

1) Organizable archives - visit http://www.flophousepodcast.com/episodes/episode-index/ for a view of doing this. This site is WP so I have no idea how this is setup in the back end. This podcast has 3 different ways of viewing their episodes. It'd be nice to be able to do something like this in Easyblog without building a TON of categories.

2) Setup a blog series option - visit http://www.causticsodapodcast.com/2015/04/27/ivan-the-terrible-part-1/ for a view of doing this. See how there is: This entry is part 10 of 10 in the series Evil Men In History which has a full link at: http://www.causticsodapodcast.com/series/evil-men-in-history/
I believe this would have to be built into Easyblog to function. But a category wouldn't work because then you'd eliminate those entries from all other categories. Tagging also wouldn't work because there'd be no way to number the items in the series.

Any ideas how to accomplish the above?
Hello Justin,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Hm. I must say it is not possible for your inquiry #2 . However for your inquiry #1, I believe we already have easyblog module list to display blog post as a list in a module. But I think it is not exactly the same as the example shown above.

By the way it is a cool features that we can consider. Perhaps you can post your idea in our easyblog voices page here, http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog so that other people can vote

I have one more idea for item 1 but it's not quite perfect. What I can do is set a menu link to pull a single category and then dump posts into a new subcategory from the parent. However, the menu item options currently only allow you to sort by date and neither allow descending/ascending sorts. I would include in future release more default sort options for menu items.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully Easyblog 5 will have more options for post display.
