Hello,

i like easyblog so far but i have a major problem with the "blog image" tab in the right side where you can "Select an image to be associated with your blog post".

It seems its only possible to upload images from a client but not possible to load images located on the server?! I only use server side images and upload batches of images either into folders or into rocketthemes "rokgallery".

Therefore i have two questions:

1. How can i specify blog images which are located on the server. If not, please supply the regular joomla media selector too in blog-edit mode.
2. Is there any "hook" for 3rd party developers to provide an image url to easyblog?
Like you publish an interface and other developers can supply an method which would be used by easyblog to acquire an image URL via a defined method. So that if one presses the "Select Blog Image" button the third party developers method is called.

Right now i am migrating an older site of mine from joomla 1.5 to 3. So most of the images are already on the server. If i want to specify an image for a blog i now first have to download the image from the server and then use the upload function from eayblog. If you do this for 50 existing blogs this gets vey annoying.

best regards,

Arnd
