Hi,

I recently purchased EasyBlog and all is working well, except that I can't figure out how to show a thumbnail of the "blog image" on the entry text (introduction). The blog image does does show up in the detail view of the posting, but the placement options don't seem to work (and I can find an option to move the image to the left or right).

Thanks for your help!

Hello James,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I believe all themes in EasyBlog as default will automatically shows the blog image thumbnail on frontpage view. However, there is a setting to show/hide blog image on frontpage view. You can find it here: EasyBlog > Themes > (theme) > Show blog image on frontpage view = Yes .
If this doesn't resolves your issue, perhaps you can provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can assist you further. Please put it in the Site Details tab below. It is very secure and Stackideas team can view the information.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hi Mohd,

Thanks for your note - I forgot about the theme setting for showing the blog image on the frontpage. I was using the origami theme and originally turned it off since I didn't what the large picture on the frontpage but then I decided it would be good to have a thumbnail image. After trying a number of different approaches, I switched to a different theme. So the problem is resolved and the blog looks great!

I do have one follow-up question -- I'm not sure how the settings on the "BLOG IMAGES" tab of the theme work -- I was thinking I could modify the size of the image by changing the settings, but I tried changing them and see no effect on the blog image.

Thanks again,
Jim

Hi James,

Regarding your follow-up question, after changing the size of the image, you need to Clean Images so that the blog image will follow the new defined size by you. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/1mvsFYgz0Z .

Hope this will help.
Thanks.
