Hi

My client says that the blogs from his site are being sent to my LinkedIn page, not his.

---------------

'When I blog, from Robert Tearle Consulting web site, the blog into LinkedIn shows up on your updates not mine.

It needs to go to my account, which is

https://www.linkedin.com/in/roberttearleconsulting'

--------------

And he attached this screenshot.

Could you possibly have a look at this for me?

Many thanks

Ian
Hi Ian Norton,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, when you sign in to LinkedIn from EasyBlog's autoposting setting page, did you sign in with your client's LinkedIn account or you actually signed in with your own LinkedIn account?

Also, the Joomla backend URL that you've provided always redirect me to your site frontend.
Please advise.

Hi Sam - thanks for getting back to me.
This is odd. It is my client who says his blog is being sent to my linked in page, not his as in the screenshot above :-(
Sorry if I gave you the wrong url. How can I send you the correct one?
Thanks again
Ian

Hi Ian,

If you are signin to your LinkedIn account in EasyBlog backend under LinkedIn autoposting configuration page, then depends on whether you've enabled the option 'Allow Authors To Use Their Own LinkedIn Account'. If you did not enabled this option, all blog posts will auto post to your linkedIn account.

Anyway, you can edit your site access details by login to our site and head to http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site

Once you've updated your site access, I will check again your LinkedIn autopost setting again

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hi Sam - many thanks for the quick reply.
This option is set to yes - I've attached a screenshot.
I struggled with the setup of your plugin, and your colleagues were brilliant and set it up for me, so I'm working in the dark here.
Sorry to be a pain, but can you help me out again?
And please tell me how I can give you the correct URL?
Thanks again,
Ian

Hey lan,

Thanks for getting back to us,

I have checked with your client user account `Robert Tearle`, it seems like he didn't authenticate Linkedin account to his easyblog user profile, so when it publish a post, the post will only autopost to your Linkedin page.

Can you request your client go to this page after login http://www.roberttearle.com/index.php/blog/dashboard/profile then click `Sign in via Linkedin`, then publish a post again and see how it goes?

By right, this post will appear on your client Linkedin page and the main Linkedin user account which authenticated in your backend > Easyblog > autopost > Linkedin configuration page.

Hi Arlex - I'm having trouble talking my client through this.
When I log in as Robert I can't see his dashboard. Have I missed a setting in admin somewhere?
Thanks

Hi Arlex - sorry for the long delay on this one.
Now you have backend access to this site please could you look into this again for me?
If I give you my client's linked in login details would that help?
Many thanks

Hey lan,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I have a little bit lost here, is it you referring this question?

Hi Arlex - I'm having trouble talking my client through this.
When I log in as Robert I can't see his dashboard. Have I missed a setting in admin somewhere?

If yes, can you provide us with your client `Robert` site access and Linkedin account access so we can take a look why he can't see his dashboard? because by right it should show and allow your client `sign in via Linkedin` there, so they can autopost to their Linkedin user profile. (You can provide that access intohttp://stackideas.com/dashboard/site )

By the way, I've tried to access in your Joomla backend but it keep redirect back to your homepage, please advise.

Hi Arlex - thanks for getting back to me, and sorry to have confused you.
Sometimes I confuse myself.
I think I have managed to sort out the posts to Robert's LinkedIn page now.
I'll let you know as soon as Robert has tested it and we know it works.
Once again, thanks to you and the team for your speedy and patient support!
