Hi,

I want to display the latest article in a category as a full post with the previous articles underneath.

So for example, when a visitor clicks on Money in a top menu link on my home page it opens the latest article in my category but with related/historical articles in that category underneath (like you see when you open an actual article normaly).

So far I have created a new menu item on my home page called Money and linked this to EasyBlog - Posts (Single Latest Posts) and selected my category from which I want the article to come from.

Now when I click on the Money link in my menu, instead of it opening the article it opens a totally unrelated article.

When I look at the url that is opened in the browser, it is different to others which normaly follow this structure:

http://www.mysite.co.uk/news/category/article

This one however opens http://www.mysite.co.uk/category

Is that how it should work?

Kind regards

Mel
Hey Mel,

Your best bet is to create a menu item which links to a single category layout. This will display the header about the category and the posts submitted under the category

Hi Mark,

does the single post latest menu link not work? It doesn't for me at the moment. I liked the idea of the single post because it displayed the related post images below.

I have now set it for the single category. Is there any way to select more than one category?

The single post latest menu displays the latest blog entry. That's just about it You can only select 1 category at a time for this menu.
