Hi!
It's absolutely must have option - to ban users from frontend.
I have moderators on my site - but they can't to ban users in ES.
Jomsocial have this option - and it's very comfortably.
Hello,

Thanks for the heads up on this. We'll consider this However, please do submit your feature requests for EasySocial at http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial

Thanks. I don't think that this option needs to be in requests list.
It's absolutely must have option.
I don't know other components that don't have this option - kunena, jomsocial, Agora Pro, Community Builder - all this components have option to moderate users on front end. Even your components like Komento, EasyBlogs and EasyDiscuss have option to moderate.
Just one button - "disable user on site" on profile page...

Hello Romagromov,

To be honest, every new feature request made should be made on the voices section and none of the new features added should be determined by you alone. It should be determined by the importance based on the votes of our customers

It's not new feature request - it's must have feature.
It should not even be discussed

I went back to kunena - because your ED does not have normal pagination.
It seems that I have to return to the jomsocial, because there is no way to moderate users on frontend.

Hi Romagromov,

Thank you for your idea and feedback. I agree that this is a must-have feature on EasySocial. However, Mark have requested for you to put it in our Voices section so that other users can vote it AND it doesn't hinder our development. Should the feature that you've requested have so many votes, the developers will have to reconsider of reshuffling their development plan and implement it. Kindly take note that reshuffling our plans can and will slow down our development; developing features from ideas jot down in our Forum will only worsen the slowdown. Imagine the requests that will come in via Forum!

I can't make you stay nor stops you from going back to JomSocial; the team truly respects our users' decision because by the end of the day, the Stack Ideas team only wants what's best for our users.

I hope this clears up any confusions that might arises. Do let me know if there's anything more that I can assist you with.

Indeed it's a must have feature. However Mark is right that a voice page is needed for such requests. At the very least a voice helps the stacked team better organize requests by assigning them to individuals and setting what stage of ES it will be apart of. I've mentioned this idea a while back but have not pressured the stacked team about this because they've got a lot of stuff to work through. Unlike some request's, I will give you credit that this idea will help pretty much all EasySocial site's in terms of management. But again, a voice page is needed even if it's a needed feature. If you play your cards right and carefully, the stacked team does listen to such requests. At the very least they will consider it when a voice page is made. It does require patience, careful planning, good timing, and maximizing the greatest good for the greatest number of people.

I'm afraid Josh, that we don't have so much time.
ES v1.3 was released in September 10, 2014
It took 2 months, but no one item from roadmap for v.1.4 not yet started.
I want to repeat, I not trying to pressure on developers - I'm shocked that they lost this major option and that this option needs to be in requests list.
This is similar to what I should ask developers joomla add publish button for articles in request list.

Of course, I created new feature requests - but there is no hope that in the this year, this option will appear.

Hello Romagromov,

I don't mean to disrespect but we have thousands of different customers and simply because you "feel" that this feature is a "major" or a "must have" feature does not mean that we need to do it simply because you need it. We build what is necessary based on what users think is necessary and with our evaluation as well of course.

Think of this again please, if every of our customer is posting a new post stating these "MUST HAVE FEATURES", don't you think this would only cause everything to be a mess?

I have created other feature requests on voices page, such as "Gifts System" and "Last visited information in profiles" but I don't called them "must have".
But I really shure that any community or forum component really must have moderate options in frontend for admins and moderators.
As I already wrote, I don’t know other community or forum components without frontend moderate options.
I am disappointed and discouraged that you think differently.
However, I'm really sorry if I offended anybody or insulted.
Best regards.
