Hello,

I am unable to set up Autoposting with Twitter. I have completed the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in step2. When I proceed to step 1 and Sign in with Twitter I receive and error message (attached) and cannot proceed.

Please help,

Michael.
Hello Michael,

Sorry for late reply to this,
You should put this as your domain name.
http://nishimachi.com.au

What my colleague trying to explained is because we are not able to access in your Linkedin account since we can't receive your Linkedin verification code immediately so we getting this error "You have exceeded the maximum number of code requests."

Let's try my Method below :
>> If you would like to autopost to your business page, you have tick this setting from your Linkedin apps configuration.

Check my instruction below :
Step 1 : Go to your LInkedin Apps ( http://screencast.com/t/wGoZ9cXF9 ) check this few thing.
Step 2 : Go to your phpmyadmin > find this table "jos_easyblog_oauth" > then you will see this linkedin row " http://screencast.com/t/2X9ow6jHs " > so you have to delete it
Then go to your Easyblog Linkedin autopost setting > Click Sign in with Linkedin
Step 3 : Do a test post and see is it working?

If this doesn't help, is it possible provide us some screenshot regarding with your Linkedin apps configuration setting as well? please advise.

Hello Michael Finger,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
First you have make sure that you have select Read and Write permission from your Twitter apps setting tab Because by default, applications created by Twitter is Read Only.

After you set to Read and Write permission then still hitting the same issues, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and Twitter access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

Hi Arlex,

Yes it is set to Read and Write. How can you help without me providing sensitive login details? This is only one of the three problems I'm experiencing so I would really appreciate some solid advice.

Michael.

Hello Michael Finger,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Actually we need the access in order to assist you on this issue because we need to debug the issue first before providing you with any solution or advise. Thus, we can minimize the time taken to get the issue resolved, and can prevent a long, traditional and boring technical support assistance. Having said that, would you be kind enough to provide us with your site's access, FTP access and your Twitter access so that we can pinpoint the exact cause of this issue and fix it once and for all.

By the way, your information is perfectly safe; it's only accessible to the forum's staff. Kindly fill in the Site Information's form. Let me know if you need any assistance in filling it up.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for the progress update.
The LinkedIn verification code is xxxx.
Let's leave Facebook for now. I have been unable to verify my mobile with them. My Twitter account posts to Facebook anyhow so its not worth worrying about.
Have you had an attempt at the Mail Chimp integration?

Thanks,

Michael.

Hello Michael,

I am sorry, when I put this verification code, I got this error:
Sorry, we couldn't finish signing you in because too much time went by. Sign in again
When I tried to request another verification code, I got this error:
You have exceeded the maximum number of code requests.
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. You can setup LinkedIn autoposting by creating LinkedIn app using below guide:
1. To access the developers page of LinkedIn, it is accessible via https://www.linkedin.com/secure/developer. If you are not logged in yet, you'll need to sign in first.

2. Creating the Application

Once you are on the Create Application page, you need to fill in your details.

The important section that you need to enter is as highlighted in the image:

Website URL - You need to enter your website's URL.
OAuth Redirect URL - You need to enter your website's URL.
JavaScript API Domains - You need to enter your domain name here.
rw_nus - You need to tick this option.

3. Getting the API Key and Secret Key
Now if you will be able to see a list of applications that you have created in your LinkedIn Developers frontpage. To get the "API key" and "Secret key" just click on the application name.

4. Go to EasyBlog > Autoposting > LinkedIn.

5. Test your blogpost to LinkedIn.

If you encounter issue or unable to autoposting to LinkedIn, please do inform us and we will assist you on resolving this issue. I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused and please do update us back.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Mohd,

I have followed the above instructions. When you say above that 'JAVA Script AP Domains' should be my domain name, do you mean http://www.nishimachi.com.au or nishimachi.com.au

Step 4 of 4 above does not exist in my Joomla backend. Since you didn't notice when you checked i assumed its not a problem, but perhaps related to why its not working.

It is now working! With your advice above of http://nishimachi.com.au it now works. Seems it was the last piece of the puzzle.

Thanks very much. I'm happy we got there in the end.
