Autopost to page AND group not working

I have permissions on autopost for posting to a page and to a group. I have selected a page and a group in the separate dropdowns. I also have autopost to Twitter enabled.

When I make a new post, Twitter works, and Facebook autoposts to the PAGE, but not the GROUP.

If I only have group turned on, it works. But page AND group always ignores the group.

Please advise.

I can make you a site account with admin privs, but I cannot supply FTP as my site does not have FTP enabled for security reasons.
Issue found - Facebook requires that the posting application be installed in the group. This appears to not be documented anywhere and is only discovered by looking at the autopost logs.

You guys might want to add it to the on-screen help or others might be confused.

Once going into your group on Facebook, selecting settings, then apps, and the installing your app, things work as expected.

Hi Christopher,

I would like to get some info on your app to understand the issue better. When you encounter the error, what was your app type, and was it in production or development?

Also, did you already went through the app review for the Groups API feature back then, but still hit the error?

This issue was resolved - the issue was a Facebook permission that wasn't made very clear. Without it, EasyBlog fails silently. But this is mostly Facebook's issue. Once added, both work.
