Then Settings > Anti Spam > Enable Recaptcha

I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

I have configure your site and resolved your issues. Unfortunately you cannot use reCaptcha because of your html isn't correct.
I have enabled Easydiscuss build-in captcha for the time being. If you doesn't want this you can disabled it from:
Backend > Components > Easydiscuss > Settings > Anti Spam > Captcha

Unfortunately you can't remove the e-mail because e-mail is required, otherwise the guest wouldn't be notified when there's a reply made to the discussion.

I'm so sorry, if e-mail asking, some people doesn't participate at forum as comment.

It's a town's website with a lot of people not very young who are not very confortable with the internet idea and a litle afraid giving personnal information as e-mail, just for post something on a forum. It's easy on comment so they participate. It's necessary that they participate at the forum too. The asking personnal e-mail is a participation deceleration.

Sorry Mark, asking e-mail, I understand it must be important fort the majority, but not for this website. So sorry about that.

Yes it is possible with minor hack but the downside is the user wont't get email notification if there is a reply to the discussion.

An other thing : I test to register like a new user. The new page open is the big login form (joomla) which ask a complete registration with email asking !

ok, I register. A message say "You will be receive an email and then click on for validate your subsribtion" (in french). It's a bad point. And I can't post on the forum.

On the backend, on User tab I see my new account no activate. On parameter the point is "Automatic register".

I search something very simply. Easy to use. Quick discussion, quick response. No register-form. Capcha.

Probably some problem come from my joomla configuration. But actually it's impossible to me to install the site on his original adress and some people wait after me.

This forum is very helpfull. Moderator very kind. I like the easydiscuss design.

But I would want desactivate all is a barrier to quick and responsive discussion forum.
Perhaps, just User name /password it can be fine.

For the registration part, you can't remove the email. It is compulsory to provide an email in Joomla. However, you can disable the email activation by going to User Manager>Option and change this option to None: http://screencast.com/t/AW8u5yV5ho0j .

No registration form is : name, re-name, password, re-password, email, re-email : joomla login form.
Concerning some website it's necessary, not concerning this specific website.
