Hi,

I want to add a feature so that group members could post static articles. I intend to clone the Announcements/News app. Is there anything you could point me to be careful during the clone process?

I would appreciate if you already have such an app

Yes, currently we do not have article app for the Easysocial group. Perhaps you can provide us more information about "post static articles"?

because we only have Announcements/News group app in current system.

With "static articles" I mean same as Joomla articles, article+category. Can we clone and extend the Announcements/News app for such a purpose?

Hello Enes,

Yep you can clone but you probably need to alter the way these data is being stored into the database.
