Hi

On the old version of easyblog the archive module would link through to a list view of blog posts made on the selected date. It now seems to link to a calendar view which our client really doesn't like due to it being unnecessarily complex and not very user friendly. Is there anyway to switch to a list view without having to heavily modify the template?
Hi Fever,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

By right it should being displayed like the screenshot below rather than calendar view, http://screencast.com/t/4WbW1qeZ6 . Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

Thanks for the reply. How should I send the details to you. Is this support thread public?

Hi Fever,

I am sorry I think there is a bit misunderstanding here. I was under the impression that your easyblog archive module is displaying in calendar view rather than list view like my screenshot earlier, but instead it will pointing user to calendar page when user clicking the month's link. Unfortunately currently that is the default behavior for archive view and it is not possible to change calendar view to listing view .

Hi

That is a shame. It didn't used to work like that and it really isn't the best solution for an archive view . No worries, I'll just have to modify it myself. Thanks for your help.

Hello there,

there a solution to go back to the list view?
The calendar view is really not a good solution.

Greetings Ralph

Hi Asysta,

Unfortunately it is not possible to link back the module to list view currently as the list layout is no longer available in easyblog 5. I will try to forward this to our developers and hopefully they can do something about this later on.

I'd also prefer the list view instead of the calendar! Would be great, if the users could choose!

Hey there,

If you update to 5.0.32, it now uses the list view
