Hi
I'm still having a little problem with the archive module.
In the settings I indicate wich category to include. When that's only one category everything is fine.
When I put two (for instance 6,12), things go a bit wrong. They do show up in the month-count
of the module, but when I click on the month, the calendar is not showing any blogs at all.
I hope this is something you can fix?
Best,
Ineke
Hey Ineke,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, not really sure how to access the page with the problem. Can you please advise?

Hi Mark,
No problem, sorry I wasn't clear.
For instance on http://lotje.studioih.nl/blogs/silvie, on the right side below is an archive module.
The module is called "archief Silvie" in the backend.
When I set the categories I want to include, things go wrong when I set more than one category. The counts within the module are right, but no blogs show up in the calendar. When I set just one category, everything is fine.
I hope this is the clarification you're looking for.
Best,
Ineke

Hey Ineke,

Hm, not sure what you mean by the "calendar". This module doesn't actually render a calendar. It only renders the number of posts created on the specific dates. Am I missing anything here?

Hi Mark,
I mean the calendar you get to see when you click on a month.

Hey Ineke,

It looks like you have added a template override in /templates/lotjetemplate_jm31/html/1mod_easyblogarchive . I have renamed this folder and clicking on the month seems to link correctly. Can you review this now?

By the way, can you also please check the site? It is loading extremely slow for me to troubleshoot anything.

Hi Mark,
I'm sorry but that did not solve the problem. There has been an earlier fix of the archive module:
http://stackideas.com/forums/archive-module-category-1
The problem was that when you clicked on the month in the archive module, the calendar showed all blogs, not just those of the concerning category.

I used that fix in the override on lotje.studioih.nl
I now replaced the default.php en default-item.php of lotje.studioih.nl with those file from the earlier fix.

On for instance http://lotje.studioih.nl/blogs/willemien things work fine now. The archive module here is set to include one cagegory.
On http://lotje.studioih.nl/blogs/elise things go wrong. The archive module here is set to include two categories.
The counts inside de module are correct, but when you click on the month, no blogs show up in de calendar.

I really hope you can fix this!
Best,
Ineke

This is the default behavior of the module and it does not filter posts by category on the calendar view.

Hi Mark,
I'm sorry but that is not a very satisfying answer.
In the module settings there are options where you can include or exclude categories.
You would expect that to work....
In the former versions of Easyblog, that's exactly how I used it and how it worked.
And after the fix done by your colleague it works when I include one category, so why not two?
Best

Hm, I will take a look at this and consider if we should add this in the next release.
