Ha.. not sure if the title makes any sense or not.

So, for our site we are doing things a little different. We have a floating header which take the page name/title and uses it to always let the user know where he/she are at on the website. this will later incorporate other elements as well but for now only the page title. This is cool and a nifty function which we like, here is one example of it in use "working": http://screencast.com/t/jIJxsAM7OHoT

The problem is when viewing any applications in EasySocial, whether groups, events or user apps the problem is always the same it simply says "Applications" at the title.

Some Examples:

Again, this is consistent for all of the applications.

Is it possible to make sure that the application title is output?

Thanks,
James
Hi James,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Please do understand that your request for customization is beyond our support scope and currently our hands are pretty tied with the existing development. However, I will try get back to you when I have my free time.

I am really sorry about this. By the way, if this a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote.

Hope you can understand.

Thanks Mohd, but its something I thought should happen by default with the Name and Permalink in the application backend.

If it is not a default function I will have a hand at making it work myself first. If I need some professional assistance I will let you guys know.

Thanks,
James

Hello James,

Hm, you are right! Rather than displaying a generic "Applications" on the header, it should actually try to use the App title instead. Will log this as a fix on the next release.

Here's a quick fix that you can try, download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easysocial/views/groups/

Thanks Mark, after testing it several times here are the results: http://screencast.com/t/AFHUowPSMx9

1. When accessing the Application through the Group App Filter it works.
2. When accessing a Group Discussion for example and going a layer deeper the naming is lost.

Thanks,
James
