Hi guys.
Currently in the process of developing/designing a site which will use ES and ED.

When a question is accepted in ED as an answer, and an ES stream item is generated, anyone clicking on that item will receive a 404error.

Example Workflow:

URL of the post:
http://46.101.63.141/index.php/topics/mssql2012

Posted Reply:
http://46.101.63.141/index.php/topics/mssql2012#COM_EASYDISCUSS_REPLY_PERMALINK-24

(by the way, that looks really ugly with the whole "#COM_EASYDISCUSS_REPLY_PERMALINK-24" string - can that be changed?)

And finally, in the stream when the answer was accepted:
http://46.101.63.141/index.php/topics/re-mssql2012#answer

The last link is the one that is breaking the site - it's causing the 404 error.

How do I fix these issues?
Hello Dave,

Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easydiscuss/helpers/easysocial.php and see how it goes.

Hi Nik.
That fix seems to stop the 404 error in the ES stream when an answer is accepted.
However, still seeing "COM_EASYDISCUSS_REPLY_PERMALINK-xx" in the stream when someone replies to a post in ED. This looks like a language string issue to me.

Hi Dave,

I am sorry, I can't seem to replicate this issue. Am I missing anything here? Can you provide us with backend access and FTP access so that we can further check on this issue.

Please

Hello Dave,

It seems like the language string is missing from the easysocial language file. Can you add the following string inside your /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini since I having permission issue when I'm trying to edit your file via the ftp.

COM_EASYDISCUSS_REPLY_PERMALINK="reply"
COM_EASYDISCUSS_REPLY_PERMALINK_TO="Permalink to this reply"

That should fix the issue
