Hi folks,

My idea is to create an Alpha Index (see my screenshot attached), to basically be able to use EasyBlog as a glossary of terms, a dictionary.

At the moment, we can create categories and articles for a glossary, but there is no provision to offer front end alpha index searching to its readers. Would be nice to have it, like FlexiContent, for example.

Regards,

Alex
Hey Alex,

We actually did thought about this by alpha indexing the tags. However, there is a problem especially with different languages. There is really no way to group items by different characters. If they are plain ASCII characters, it is fine but as you know there are tons of languages.

EasyDiscuss and EasySocial are 100% translated but obviously, as it can be expected in large project with significant number of strings, which have been translated by more than one translator, both translations contain inconsistencies. You know, when the same interface element gets translated difirently by different translators. EasyBlog has about 800 strings to hit. That's where we are at the moment
