Allow admin to create Event type

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to create event type in Easysocial. Just like it is in this forum, there is "categories" and "Post type".

That way I could keep all the categories I have but also add event type like "Workshop", "Competition"...

If I create a custom field for it in each category, is there a way to display it the main event page as a filter?

Event better if we could create templates for each type. Maybe a group of custom field that appear on when the specific Event type is selected!

Thanks for your suggestion on this feature. I think with this feature, admin / users can manage their event better. Hi Mark,

I guess this could be implemented in other parts as well.

Example with videos. We can create music, sport, art, documentary, etc... categories, but what if it is an Art Documentary? Would it be better for Easysocial to support multiple categories or have "Video Types" as well?

==> Video type "Documentary", category "Music"...

Just a thought...

Hm, we did thought about this and I think for videos, it would make sense if tags would actually differentiate between the categories. Multiple categories wouldn't solve this I think.
