Hi,

I am using EasyBlog to embed a Blog page within my website.
I would like the Blog Page to be an All Authors EasyBlog menu type, where, however, the posts should have a certain length, rather than having the listing of the different authors's posts, so that for each post I can show three/four lines and one picture/video.
How can I achieve that? I tried to modify truncation properties, but it doesn't seem to apply...

Thanks in advance,
Valeria
Hey Valeria,

For "All authors layout", the responsible file is located in /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/authors/default.php .

For "All categories layout", the responsible file is located in /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/categories/default.php

You can actually tweak these theme files to generate an "introtext" by using the codes below:

Hey Valeria,

EasyBlog's "All Authors" page doesn't actually do that currently as it only displays only a list of recent blog post's title. If the "introtext" of the blog post is also shown, then the page would be tremendously long if you have say 10 authors with each displaying 5 recent posts with intro text

Right,

it does the same with All Categories as well. So could you suggest a way, a menu type I could use so that I can show full'truncated length posts?
If I choose All Categories menu type, what is the .php that controls the layout?

Thanks,
Valeria
