I need to add side menus to my Easy Discuss page. How do I accomplish this? I I cannot do this then Easy Discuss is a waste of time for my needs.

What side menu's are you referring to here? It is actually based on your Joomla template. If your template supports side positions, just place your menu module in the respective positions
