Hello Bonitto Daley,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
I have checked in your template, it seems like you have do some customization of the Easyblog theme and removed the read more button code,
I have temporary add this readmore code in your file -> JoomlaFolder/templates/gk_game/html/com_easyblog/blog.item.php
LINE 125

The read more button is showing out, but the styling you have to adjust by yourself. Hope this help.

Hello Bonitto,

There's actually 3 ways to achieve this:

1. Enable the automated truncation settings at the back end of EasyBlog under the layout settings. You also need to specify the maximum number of characters before the truncation kicks in.

or

2. Use the read more button beneath the editor when you are writing the blog post so you can specifically tell the system when the truncation should be kicking in.

or

3. Customize the theme file located in /components/com_easyblog/themes/default/blog.item.php and insert a read more button
