Acymailing Profiles custom field configuration for subscribing to newletter lists

In the configuration for the Acymailing profile custom field I can enter the id's for the newsletter lists to which the user will be subscribed. However if I enter more than one I would expect the name of each list to be displayed together with a check box so the user can select one or more newsletters. However only one check box is displayed and no name. Is this by design?

Currently, we only show one check box only and it will subscribe to each of id you have set in the list IDs.

no name.

Have you set the title/description for your field at your "Title/Description"? if still persist, can you provide use with your username as we cant access your backend right now.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes I have set the title and description fields. It is fine for the moment, it is just that with the community component I have previously used the newsletters and html/text preference could be set a registration, hence my question.
