That's what I'm expecting it to do but unfortunately, it is not subscribing the user to the configured list id.

I have just tried to edit my profile and ticked the checkbox to subscribe to "LakeAveNews Online" and it seems to be showing this http://screencast.com/t/F5wWDJMnK . Does this mean that the user needs to confirm the subscription? This seems like a double opt-in process done by Acymailing?

Thanks for looking at this.

Yes, the double opt-in setting in Acymailing is turned on, so I just turned it off. But I'm having this weird behavior with my test user "frogydiak". I'm not seeing that same notification you got. All I see is "Account details updated successfully." after I hit Save and when I go back to the backend and look for frogydiak user in the list, it's not there

Also, if I uncheck the tick box and that would mean to Unsubscribe I assume. Going back to the see the tick box, it is still checked.

Hello Jackson,

Is the user already subscribed to Acymailing? The code that is in this custom field actually just triggers the adding of user into the subscriber list. That's all it does. Not entirely sure why it isn't working for this user though
