I solved the problem ! I needed to activate the "réécriture au vol des URLs" Everything woks fine now

Well, it's not completely working !!!
when the "réécriture au vol" is enable. I do have access to every user profil with a clean url.

But, when log out. my connexion link doesn't redirect properly and I have a 404 page.
Help !!!

May i know where you activate this setting from your backend, perhaps you can provide us some screenshot regarding this? Because I can't read these language

By the way, may i know do you want your site URL without `index.php` URL alias?

Also can you provide us with your FTP access as well? because I've tried to connect with your FTP server, it seems like you provided us with your FTP credentials is not working.

The configuration I'm talking about is in "Global Configuration" :
Search Engine Friendly URLs
Use URL Rewriting

When both are activated, strangely, i don't have access to my connexion page. The system send me a 404 page. It's as if they where a redirection problem with it.

I rather have a URL without the index.php in it.

I will look into my FTP credentials and find out why they are not working.

Oh, I think i know why already, I believe you didn't activate your htaccess file from your Joomla root folder.

If you can access your Joomla root folder, try rename this htaccess.txt to .htaccess

After that, open this .htaccess file and make sure this following command is enable :

#RewriteEngine On



//replace to



RewriteEngine On

Once you have done it, then enable this 2 option from your JOomla backend global configuration page
Search Engine Friendly URLs
Use URL Rewriting

By the way, keep us update when you solve your FTP issue.

Our .htaccess is all good !!!
I made further investigation. Found out that menus with links to profil / connexion and dashboard were causing some weird loops redirection. When deactivated, I could access all my urls. But some were not rewrite properly.

Per example, my main url (when disconnected) is now :

http://preprod.estaca.fr/component/easysocial/connexion?Itemid=
instead of
http://preprod.estaca.fr

I'm waiting for my technician to solve the ftp access.

The reason why you hitting this is because you disable `EasySocial » Dashboard » Dashboard` menu item from backend

To fix this, at least you enabled back one of the `EasySocial » Dashboard » Dashboard` menu item from your site.
