Hello

I tested the modifications introduced in event reminder email in ES 1.4.8 after this post and found 2 issues:

1- Button in mail is still linking to ES connection page, instead of event list page

2- Event time is not correct in mail

In my case, event start time is 20:00. My timezone is Paris, that's the default timezone defined in my Joomla configuration (and my users use default timezone).
But in the mail, time displayed is 21:00.

For your information, Paris timezone is UTC+1 in winter (that's the case now), and UTC+2 in summer.

Thank you

.Fixed in ES 1.4.10
One more thing: today, only users who replied "Attending" are receiving this reminder.

I think it would be a good thing that people who replied "Maybe" also receive it, so that they make up their mind

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've checked our repo, it seems like I didn't put this changes in the Easysocial latest version.

Can you try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easysocial\models\events.php and see how it goes?

Regarding with your second issue :
2- Event time is not correct in mail

In my case, event start time is 20:00. My timezone is Paris, that's the default timezone defined in my Joomla configuration (and my users use default timezone).
But in the mail, time displayed is 21:00.

For your information, Paris timezone is UTC+1 in winter (that's the case now), and UTC+2 in summer.

May i know do you have this issue in your development site? is it possible to re-create a similar event in your development site?

- Joomla server timezone set as Paris?
- Event creator timezone set as default?

ne more thing: today, only users who replied "Attending" are receiving this reminder.

I think it would be a good thing that people who replied "Maybe" also receive it, so that they make up their mind

Regarding this, It would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this in our voice page -> http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial , so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

Hello

On my dev site, I have created an event "Reminder Test" on 30-03-2016 13:00. I don't use timezone on event dates.
Then I have launched the cron so that the reminder email is generated, you can find it in the Email Activity section or check attached snapshot.
Time in reminder is 15:00 (Paris is UTC+2 now, which probably explains why). Instead of 13:00.

I noted that link in reminder email is correct now

On your snapshot, start time on the event is 20:00 whereas in the reminder email this is 22:00... Same for end time...

Well, I get the current date and time in the mail instead of the event date and time!

Let me know if you still have trouble with my FTP access.

One more thing: before accessing the cron URL of my dev site, be sure that there is no pending mail in the queue... During your previous tests, some mails were sent to my users
