I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Kindly please find the response to your inquiries below:

1. When saving a category's settings (after changing permissions for example), I get:

Warning
Model class easydiscussModelCategory not found in file

This is actually not an error with EasyDiscuss but the K2 system plugin is messing up with the namespace / paths. You can just ignore this error because it doesn't do any harm.

2. When guest and public access to view or add replies to restricted, the default avatar disappear from the discussion view. The avatar img src is wrong:

I have applied some fixes for your site and it should display the guest avatar correctly now
