Since updating, all my events seem to have lost their description and now say:

No theme file found for this event. You might be trying to display content in an event that do not need to display.: event/description/

I will try and play with my settings. I had previously had set my events so the description was the default display.. not the timeline. Not sure if that's the issue.
Hi Guys,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like this issue is only occur during the upgrade from easysocial 1.3 to 1.4. Kindly download my zip attachment below and extract it inside /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/event/description folder and see how it goes.

Tried the cache flush and no change on this issue. The descriptions show on the events listing page, but not on the actual event page itself.

Yes I can see the descriptions on the activity stream too.... so at least they haven't been deleted... but definately not appearing on the event detail view itself.

Just wanted to 'bump' this thread again to help highlight the issue... I'm swamped with users reporting that event details are missing!

This is a real problem. Are we missing something or is this a glitch?

Hopefully we'll get an official comment / fix for this soon!.... Seems like the main issue... just hoping the support team haven't missed this whole thread!
