Joomla Password Field

EasySocial comes with a wide variety of configuration options that allows you to quickly customize most of the behavior of EasySocial. In this section, we'll briefly guide you with the Joomla Password Field. To access this custom field, you will need to navigate to Joomla > Components > EasySocial > Profile Types > (Choose any profile) > Custom Fields.

  • Show reconfirm password field - If enabled, this would display two password field and user needs to ensure that both passwords matches.
  • Include reconfirm password field in mini registration - If enabled, this would display two password field in mini registration and user needs to ensure that both password matches.
  • Show password strength - A password strength would be applied on the password that the user typed.
  • Minimum character - Set the minimum character of the password.
  • Maximum character - Set the maximum character of the password.
  • Minimum Uppercase Characters - Determines if the password field requires a minimum number of uppercase characters in the password.
  • Minimum Integers - Determines if the password field requires a minimum number of integers.
  • Minimum Symbols - Determines if the password field requires a minimum number of symbols.
  • Require original password - If enabled, user will have to input their original password first before changing password.
