Setting up ACL

ACL (Access Control Level) in EasyBlog allows you to set application specific permission for either native Joomla Groups or specific bloggers on the site.

Please take note that the ACL in EasyBlog is different than the ACL in Joomla!

ACL for Joomla Groups

When you access the ACL in EasyBlog's back end, you will be presented to the ACL for Joomla groups by default. To edit specific rules for the group, just click on any of them. The rules are explained below.

ACL for Assigned users

On top of having group ACL's, you can also override this behavior by explicitly setting an ACL rule for a specific user. Any rules defined for the specific user will override the group's ACL. To access the user specific rules, you will need to click on the "Assigned" filter.
