Komento highlights
Joomla 3.0 ready!
We hope it is not too long a wait for Komento to support Joomla 3.0. We just had to make sure everything works right before we could release a compatible version. Along with it, we've also got dozens of requests to add new features so it took a bit of time to get this version out. We hope it is worth the wait!

Custom columns
We try to satisfy every user with cool features and this one should keep many of you happy for a long time. Some users want to view IP address, some like to view the email of the commentor so we've created total flexibility for you to configure these views in the backend of Komento already.

Reverse threaded
Viewing your latest or oldest comments in threaded mode can now be configured to your liking.
Upgrade to Komento 1.5
You can download the latest Komento version now and upgrade the one already in your site. Just install it on top without uninstalling it and you should see a little warning message like in the screenshot below..

We have made Komento to support large amount of comments (we've got users with sites that goes up to 30,000 comments!) and this step is important to follow. This will actually optimize Komento to load comments much faster.
Remember to head over to the Settings page to perform this maintenance action.

If your website is running on Joomla 1.5 and still need time to make the move to 3.0, worry not as we still have Komento for Joomla 1.5 too.
Go ahead and upgrade your Komento to the latest version! If you need any assistance, send them over to http://crm.stackideas.com.

Hi Mark,
Okay, I tried your suggestions but nothing works. I have reinstalled the older version (1.0.2843). The older version works. I still cannot see Komento on the component menu. I was going to try one other hack. I will uninstall, then delete all komento tables and then try reinstalling the new version. Perhaps this tactic will work. Or do you prefer to examine my system to try and figure out why this is not working? I will wait for your response.

Won't install for me either. After uploading the zip I get the error message:
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/[text deleted]/public_html/[text deleted]/tmp/install_50cc213b73f4b/admin/install.default.php on line 106
Not an updating issue as I did not have it installed previously.0 Like -

Hi,
I uninstalled Komento and deleted all the tables for Komento. I checked to make sure there was no record in the _extensions table associated with Komento.
I then installed the new version of Komento and I get the *white screen of death*. I noticed that only the tables were created but nothing else was installed. I then reinstalled the old version (1.0) of Komento. The installation went fine however it is now unusable because it cannot be accessed through the component menu.
I will now officially create a ticket so that we can resolve this issue.

This post is for Test Threaded View (not work as I expected)
Edit: OK here is working, thik is a problem with imported data from CJComment. Reply posts are not threaded like this reply, instead are listed and ordered like a "root" post but with "deph"
Using version Komento 1.5.3146
Check line 711 models\migrators.php:
$new->component = $comment->option; (original)
or
$new->component = $comment->component; ->worked for cjcomment 4.0 RC1(latest free version) (!JoomlaComment 4.0 RC1 by Compojoom.com)0 Like -
